DESCRIPTION:Be a part of a spectacular holiday tradition seen by thousands of people each December! Revels children and teen performers love to sing\, are enthusiastic about bringing music to life on stage\, and come from diverse backgrounds\, ethnicities\, and experience levels.\n \nThis year’s fully staged production takes us on a magical journey to celebrate the rich cultural legacies of the Moorish\, Sephardic\, and Iberian peoples. Featured musicians include Howard Bass\, Susan Gaeta and Tina Chancey of Trio Sefardi and Arab-American composer\, vocalist and oud player Laith Alattar. Exquisite Arab-Andalusian and Sephardic music; lively Villancicos (Spanish folk carols); a Sevillanas (flamenco-style dance); a comic “play within a play;” and\, many opportunities for the audience to join in the fun\, will bring this delightful story to life. \n\nAUDITION DATES:\nChildren (grades 3-6) – September 5 and 6 (callbacks on Sept. 7)\nTeens (grades 9-12) – September 6
