DESCRIPTION:Please join the Faith & Democracy Ministry of St. John’s Episcopal Church Norwood Parish for the screening of\nthe documentary film “Bad Faith: 2026”.  The screening will be followed by a discussion and Q&A with renowned author and journalist Anne Nelson\, and moderated by St. John’s Deacon\, The Reverend Anne Derse.\n \nOriginally released in 2024 and updated in 2026\, “Bad Faith” explores how Christian\nNationalism has become a powerful anti-democratic force in America. In its own report released\nin 2024\, “The Crisis of Christian Nationalism\,” the House of Bishops Theology Committee of\nthe Episcopal Church explores the rise and influence of Christian Nationalism in the United\nStates\, including its connection to white supremacy\, and concludes that the movement is a\ndistortion of Christianity and a threat to democracy which must be challenged.\n \nPlease join us you can participate in person in the Parish Hall at St. John’s or virtually at\nhttp://bit.ly/STJNFaith.
