SUMMARY:Peacemaking in the Holy Land: The Work of Interfaith Encounter Association
DESCRIPTION:It is a great privilege for a Jewish-Islamic dialogue society like JIDS to promote the efforts of an organization that does similar work where it is needed the most: in the Holy Land. This session highlights the activities of Interfaith Encounter Association (IEA)\, a prominent interfaith dialogue society based in Israel/Palestine. Joining us\, on the afternoon of June 22\, will be IEA’s Executive Director\, Community Manager\, and Office Manager\, respectively: Dr. Yehuda Stolov\, Carolina Frimer\, and Abier Abd Al-Daim. We will learn from them about the valuable work IEA is doing\, how they balance hope for peace with realism\, and what they see as important foundations for a future of peaceful co-existence in the Holy Land.
