Because giving up can never ever be an option.” — Greta Thunberg\, addressing US Senators\, Sept 2019\n\nIn congregations across Maryland\, we hear time and again how our faith communities have been deeply inspired by Greta’s prophetic call for action on our climate crisis. Now\, we have the chance to answer the call in Maryland! \nNext Saturday\, December 14th\, a coalition of advocacy groups large and small — faith leaders\, labor activists\, environmental groups\, and others — will be hosting an exciting one-day conference called Rebuild Maryland: Climate Action Summit. We anticipate over 400 people joining us! Prepare to speak out faithfully for strong climate solutions in the upcoming Maryland legislative session. \nRegister HERE by 12/7 to get lunch included in your registration!\nThe conference is free to attend\, and includes bagels\, coffee\, and lunch\, but we suggest those who can include a donation of $25 to help cover costs.
