SUMMARY:Screening of "Women of Faith: Coping with Trauma"
DESCRIPTION:New Bethany Baptist Church\, in partnership with The Council of Churches of Greater Washington\, will host a special screening of Women of Faith: Coping with Trauma. This faith-driven documentary opens a needed conversation about childhood sexual abuse in Black communities—and the healing found through God\, counseling\, and community. Following the screening\, the film’s creators will take part in a panel discussion to delve further into this important topic. Together\, we break the silence.
