A We Serve America Series Celebrating Faith and Freedom
FREE and Open to the Public
Please join We Serve America at the magnificent Washington D.C. Temple Visitors’ Center this Sunday, February 25, 2018, at 7 pm ET for the first in a series of celebrations of Faith and Freedom presented in conjunction with the Interfaith Counsel of Washington D.C. Tickets and parking are free.
Our first speaker is Dr. Edward Lengel, Chief Historian – White House Historical Association. He will bring together information from his many books on George Washington. He will specifically weave a thread through the program that addresses the impact of faith on Washington’s leadership. Throughout his writings Washington constantly made reference to Providence, the 18th century term for a higher power as each man defined it.
