SUMMARY:Zoom launch of “Interfaith Work and Interfaith Families: A Toolkit.”
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the Zoom launch of “Interfaith Work and Interfaith Families: A Toolkit.”\n \nThis will be an opportunity to bring together interfaith organizations\, interfaith families\, multiple religious practitioners\, and academics working in this field. The goal is to provide tools\, and connections\, to work more closely together in the future.\n \n\nEvent Details: \nDate: Thursday November 14th \nTime: 4pm-4:45pm GMT // 11am-11:45am EST  \nLocation: Zoom (link to follow upon RSVP) \nPlease RSVP by registering for the Zoom link HERE. And feel free to share this invitation with colleagues or anyone else who may benefit from the toolkit.\n\nThis project grew out of personal experience. Both of the authors have built professions inspired by our interfaith families and identities. Susan covers interfaith families as a journalist and author. Dalia is an academic\, studying interfaith families in her PhD research.  \nWe created the Toolkit with these goals: \n\n\nTo share what we have learned through fulltime relationships across religious boundaries in our families–and/or through embodying more than one set of religious practices or ancestries. \n\n\n\n\nTo provide interfaith organizations with tools and encouragement to engage with interfaith families & practitioners\, and highlight successful examples of this engagement. \n\n\n\n\nTo begin a conversation on how interfaith family members\, interfaith organizations\, and researchers studying these domains can benefit from working together more closely. \n\n\nIn troubled times\, this project is one way we have been able to focus on envisioning an interfaith sector that can persist and thrive–that can expand and transform. We look forward to gathering with you to create a new sense of community\, at the launch.
