IFC INTERNS AND VOLUNTEERS

Emergency Directory Database and Outreach Intern

Kaitlyn Dalton is a senior undergraduate student of Religious Studies through Arizona State University. Over the past several months, Kaitlyn studied abroad at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with a coursework concentration of peace and conflict studies and interreligious dialogue. In addition to her coursework, she completed a research internship at the Harry S. Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace. Kaitlyn believes there is immense potential at the intersection of interreligious dialogue, education, and diplomacy, as a force that can ignite a revolutionary movement toward peace. As the Emergency Directory Database and Outreach Intern, Kaitlyn is excited to partner with IFCMW in their efforts to foster a more diverse and inclusive interreligious community. Outreach Intern

Izzy Lauinger is from St. Cloud, Minnesota. Currently she is a senior at Concordia College Moorhead studying Political Science. However, this semester she was given the opportunity from my home institution to participate in the Lutheran College Washington Semester (a consortium of Lutheran Schools that send their students each semester to DC to intern and learn together). She is excited to work as the outreach intern this fall with the Interfaith Council and learn about how different faiths work together to build a stronger and more understanding community.
