Due to Covid, some host congregations are unable to open their doors to visitors this year. While we are disappointed that walkers won’t be able to visit all of the usual houses of worship along the route, we look forward to creating new ways to connect with local faith communities, to spark meaningful conversation, and to celebrate all who live in our region.
COVID precautions: The majority of the events at this year’s walk, including the opening/closing ceremonies, the dialogues, and panel discussions, will be held outside. Masks are strongly encouraged outside when social distancing is not possible and will be required for all visitors, per Washington, DC guidelines, at all indoor activity along the route. Each house of worship will be welcoming walkers into their spaces in accordance with any additional health and safety guidelines.
