VOICES FROM ISRAEL/PALESTINE:FACTS ON THE GROUND & MAKING A DIFFERENCE
The Rossing Center for Education and Dialogue is an Israel/Palestine-based organization whose goal is to promote better relations between Jews, Christians and Muslims in the region. This JIDS event brings two officials from Rossing to talk about the situation on the ground and which tools and frameworks make a constructive impact on the region.
The dialogue, entitled “Voices from Israel/Palestine: Facts on the Ground & Making a Difference,” will be held at St. John’s Norwood Episcopal Church, 6701 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. It will feature speakers from the Rossing Center for Education and Dialogue, an Israel/Palestine-based organization whose goal is to promote better relations between Muslims, Jews and Christians in the region. On the 26th, we will hear from two representatives from the Rossing Center: Hana Bendcowsky, Rossing’s Program Director, who has three decades of practical experience in working on interfaith activities in the Holy Land; and John Munayer, Rossing’s Director of International Engagement, an experienced writer and lecturer on Palestinian Christian Identity, Palestinian Theology, and Interreligious Dialogue. The session will be moderated by Imad Ad-Dean Ahmad, a Palestinian American scholar and a member of the JIDS community.
