Event Navigation
You’re warmly invited to gather for an Interfaith “Sema” at the Cleveland Park D.C. Library. The “Sema” is a participatory Poetic Love Feast – an invitation to Sacred Space. We’ll be sharing short Poems from Rumi and a few other Mystical poets in English. These poems will be interspersed with Sacred Chant, Sufi Teaching Stories, and select “Dances of Universal Peace.” Our theme will be “Interfaith Unity”. Farsi Readers and Lovers of Rumi’s Poetry are also especially welcome to read!
