All Neighbors Annual Festival of Light 2019

Everyone is welcome for the All Neighbors Annual Festival of Light 2019 at Waxpool Elementary School, 42560 Black Angus Dr, in Ashburn VA 20148, on Saturday October 19 at 6:00pm to 8:00pm. We hope that hundreds of people will come together; this event is a traditional event for Hindu, Sikh, and Jain, and is enthusiastically celebrated around the world, to symbolize joy, love, reflection, resolution, forgiveness, light and knowledge. It represents the victory of good over evil and light over darkness, and on those fundamental principles we can all agree! We’ll also share our brief presentation, as we get to know each other.
Our event includes lively stage performances, cultural activities, family-friendly craft activities, henna art and delicious tasting food from the Indian subcontinent for sale. It is free for entry of all guests. More information is on the Facebook event here.
