Celebrating Sukkot Outdoors and Together

When:      Sunday, Sept. 26th, 1:00-3:30 p.m.

For the past year and a half, the JIDS community has come together on a monthly basis for Zoom events.  Now, finally, we are going to take advantage of what will hopefully be beautiful fall weather and meet face-to-face to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.  We will be outdoors (meaning both “inside” and outside of the sukkah) and masks will be required – rest assured, JIDS’ commitment to taking the pandemic seriously remains strong.   

In addition to the informal socializing that is a big part of any Sukkot celebration, we hope to devote some time to learning about this holiday. We will also encourage everyone to form small groups at some point during the program and talk about one’s own favorite religious holiday.  Light refreshments will be provided.
