Please mark your calendars for our 2 hour “Faith Response to Domestic Violence in the Community & how you can help” presentation to be held at . Our team, comprised of 3D Community Outreach, MPD Victim Services, MPD Chaplain, Foundation for a Drug Free World, and District of Columbia Sentencing Commission are creating this event in response to domestic violence in our communities.
Domestic violence has been on an uptick in D.C., often happening behind closed doors. In support for our communities and the kNOW DV Campaign here in DC, we are planning an event to present to the Faith Leaders on the various issues surrounding domestic violence and how we can best support you as you support your congregations.
