Faith United Against White Supremacy: Peaceful Protest for Racial Justice

Join Emmaus UCC, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, Shiloh Baptist Church Vienna, and Coming to the Table for a peaceful, physically distanced protest against racism and white supremacy. Please meet at Emmaus UCC, 900 Maple Avenue E, Vienna, VA, and park on either side of the church. Protesters are asked to spread westward on Maple Avenue toward the town of Vienna. Please bring masks and signs. Physical distancing of 6 feet is required. There will be 1 minute of silence observed at 2:30 p.m. for George Floyd and all victims of this country’s original sins of racism and white supremacy. Marshalls will help direct people. There will be no public restrooms. If parking lots are full, please find appropriate parking along the route.
