What is a “Sema?” – A participatory Communal event of shared Rumi and other Sacred Poetry, Interfaith Sacred Chants and easily learned Sufi Circle Dances from the World’s Sacred Traditions.
This month we’ll be exploring the Sufi imagery of “Nightingale and the Rose” {Symbolic of Lover & the Divine Beloved}. We’ll provide Poetry sheets – but please feel free to bring the special pieces of Spiritual Poetry that touch you! The Semas offer a wonderful way to Spiritually Attune in a group. We’ll also take time for open-hearted sharing and dialogue. Our Semas are free and without charge.
