The AAAS Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion is pleased to present this year’s December Dialogues “Perspectives on Psychedelics: Past, Present, and Future”. This event will address the long history of the use of sacred plants and medicines by Indigenous peoples, the legal and policy landscape for psychedelics, current research into psychedelics and mental health, and what may happen with FDA approval of psychedelics for treating PTSD and other conditions in the coming years.

The event is free, but pre-registration is required. The 90-minute event will include short presentations by the panelists, a moderated discussion, and Q&A with the audience.
