Project Rozana

February 9, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

We are inviting all people to join us on February 9 to celebrate our shared commitment to helping those in society who are most in need.

12:00-1:30 PM members of houses of worship from across the DMV will fill care packages for impoverished residents of inner-city Washington.

1:45-3:00 PM, we will share accounts of the community service work by by congregations co—sponsoring the event. We will discuss possibilities for pooling our efforts and working on an interfaith basis to succor our hungry, homeless and destitute brothers and sisters in inner-city Washington. As a source of hope and inspiration, we will hear about the work of Project Rozana in raising the level of health care in the Holy Land; saving the lives of desperately sick Palestine children by transporting them to hospitals in Israel.

There is no financial commitment for taking part, but we will provide everyone who RSVPs with a list of needed food and clothing items and ask each of you to bring at least one requested item for packaging.
