Securing Our Houses of Worship

April 8 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Representatives from Montgomery County Police, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue’s Fire and Explosive Investigations Unit, and the County’s Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security will instruct faith leaders on how to minimize the risk of violent intruders, and how to respond in the event of an attack. Attacks on houses of worship continue to occur at an alarming rate, and this is particularly timely in light of the increase in hate crimes we are seeing across the nation. If you would like to attend, be sure to register at the event website.
