Congregations around Northern Virginia are participating in an interreligious effort to build understanding and solidarity across differences. In this time of heightened division, gathering in the spirit of our shared humanity sparks hope, affirms our wider community, and creates pathways for peace. 

Please join us, along with our partner faith communities, for the first sacred site visit in the series to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Falls Church, VA, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 6:30-9:00 pm.  (Arrive a little early — around 6:15pm —  to sign in and participate in a special activity!)

With dinner and dessert as “bookends” to this delightful evening, we’ll discover the unique aspects of this remarkable global tradition led entirely by volunteers, we’ll learn about the magnificent architecture of LDS temples, and experience some of the more intimate aspects and ritual traditions particular to the faith. Here are some things you can expect:

• Virtual architectural “tour” of magnificent LDS temples, plus a walking tour of the meeting house where the event will be held
• Insights into the Latter-day Saint faith, its history, and its teachings on family, joy, and purpose
• Ritual demonstration of a unique community process
• Time to celebrate, connect, and share in a meal, dessert, and conversation together.

All are welcome! This is a unique opportunity to learn, share reflections, ask questions, and break bread with neighbors in an atmosphere of friendship. Feel free to invite friends and family to join our interfaith learning.
