Abrahamic House Purim Party and Play
Abrahamic House DC invites you to our Purim party and community Purim spiel! Purim is a Jewish holiday that retells how a secretly Jewish queen, Ester, helped save her people from Haman. We'll be retelling the story with a funny Purim play, also known as a Purim spiel. Since the revelation of the Holy Quran began during the month of Ramadan, the American Fazl Mosque is holding a Holy Quran Exhibition. The walk-through exhibition features modern translations of the Holy Quran in about 50 languages along with the Arabic script as well as informative displays. In these times of violence, the Jerusalem Youth Chorus sings a different song: they're an Israeli-Palestinian music and dialogue project raising youth voices for a shared future. JIDS Potluck Picnic
