2019 Spiritual Development Colloquium
Join Volunteers of America Chesapeake and other leaders from the faith and philanthropic community for a unique opportunity to collectively address the needs of the most vulnerable people in the Chesapeake region. Through this dynamic and participatory colloquium, you will work together with others to find creative solutions related to moral injury, mental health & wellness, social justice, education, housing, and youth & culture. Together, everyone can help to cultivate a diverse, community-driven coalition of Hope for those in need.

Through July 15, 2019 In cultures around the globe, people create amulets and other personal expressions of prayer. Initiated by artist Sonya Clark, this interactive exhibition invites visitors to contribute their own beaded “prayer packets” to a community-driven art installation that celebrates diversity and unity. Museum members are invited to preview Beaded Prayers Project on Friday, June 7, 11 AM–5 PM.
