Speakers and performers include: Archbishop Wilton D.Gregory, DC Councilmember Mary Cheh (Ward 3), Ervad Kurush Dastur from the Zoroastrian community, and Kol Sasson, a Jewish a cappella group from the University of Maryland

2-3:30 Block One

Annunciation Catholic Church
–This stop will also include two “speed dialogue” sessions of 30min each on the topic, “Embracing the Stranger.

Sikh Gurdwara DC
–This stop will also include the conversation, “Sacred Heads: An exploration of headcovering and faith.” The discussion will focus on this particular religious and cultural tradition as it is practiced across different faiths. It will be moderated by Melody Fox Ahmed, Director of Global Programs at the National Cathedral School from 3:00-3:30pm.

St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral

3:30-5pm Block Two

–This stop will also include, “Praying with Beads,” a conversation on the use of prayer beads across faith and cultural traditions. It will be moderated by Jayne Sutton, an IFC Board member, from 4:00-4:30pm.

Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See to the United States

5-5:30pm Islamic Center of Washington, DC
–Speakers and performers include Imam Abbas, Lee Bachu, an IFC Board Member, Rev. Kasey Kaseman, the Interfaith Community Liaison for Montgomery County, and Mosaic Harmony.

 6-6:30pm Mahatma Gandhi Memorial
A commemorative ceremony in honor of the 150th anniversary of Gandhi’s birth.
