Interfaith Power and Light: What is happening to our world? A Workshop for Families: 1:30 – 2 pm

Sign up is required.
Join the Interfaith Council’s grassroots climate program, Interfaith Power & Light, for a multi-generational conversation about how our energy is made and what it’s doing to our world. We’ll invite kids and teens to teach us what they know about the climate crisis, and talk together about the positive actions we can take, starting by reminding the grown-ups to use energy mindfully at home. Register here.

Powered from Above: A Multi-faith Home Energy Workshop: 3 – 3:30 pm

Sign up is required.
In past years, Unity Walk participants have helped Interfaith Power & Light — the Interfaith Council’s grassroots climate program — plant native trees on our faith communities’ grounds, and at home. This year, we invite Unity “walkers” to turn your attention to the homes where we’ve spent so much more time recently. How does the energy we use impact the world around us? And what can each of us do to use energy more mindfully and to shift to cleaner power? We’ll talk together about how all of us are called by our faiths to respond to the climate crisis, and then leave with practical resources for home energy upgrades, installing solar panels, or subscribing to a community solar project. Register here.

All Are Called: A Multi-faith Climate Conversation: 5 – 5:30 pm

Sign up is required.
All of our traditions teach that we have a responsibility to care for our neighbors, and to steward the blessings of the natural world. And yet our society’s burning fossil fuels continues to pour heat-trapping pollution into our atmosphere, damaging our shared climate. Join the Interfaith Council’s grassroots climate program, Interfaith Power & Light, for a multi-faith conversation about how our faith teachings equip and ground us in responding to the climate crisis, and in how our faith communities are responding already, with great integrity and compassion.
Register here.
