2020 Heschel Vision Experience

November 15, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - November 19, 2020 @ 8:00 pm

From Jews United for Justice:

For many of us the march from Selma to
Montgomery was both protest and prayer…
Even without words, our march was worship.
I felt my legs were praying.
 Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, 1965

The work of racial and economic justice requires all of us- and the work itself is a sacred act. These words from Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel are central to JUFJ’s work and they are a cornerstone of why we honor his memory each year. Even more this year, we are reflecting on this call for justice, and recommitting ourselves to the work we are born to do.

Some of this work requires showing up and speaking out. Some requires being in community with each other, reflecting on our values and building a future together. That’s what this moment is about.

Registration is now open for the 2020 Heschel Vision Experience. Our largest community gathering of the year will take place virtually — and we have some incredibly exciting things in store.
