I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out on behalf of the Agency for Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP) to personally invite you and your faith leaders to attend an exciting and impactful conference in Washington, DC.
ASAP’s Faith-Based Support Specialist (FBSS) Training Conference is coming to The Pew Charitable Trusts on October 10th, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This free event is specifically designed for leaders of all faiths and will be located at 901 E Street NW, Washington, DC 20004. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
This powerful training equips faith leaders with the knowledge, tools, and certified resources needed to better support individuals and families dealing with substance misuse. To date, more than 400 leaders across Alabama have been certified through our program as well as hundreds of individuals in faith communities in other cities such as Kent, WA; New Orleans, LA; Nashville, TN; and New York, NY.
We believe your presence and voice are essential to this important conversation. Together, we can bridge the gap between faith and mental health and bring hope to those who need it most.
