Chasing Fall with Chuseok!

Come and enjoy the coming of fall with the Abrahamic House at our Chuseok celebration! Chuseok is the mid-autumn harvest festival celebrated by Koreans every year on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar. This holiday is a time for us to honor our families and ancestors, share in community and reflect on our gratitude for the fruits of our work in the past year. 

We’ll celebrate this festival by making songpyeon, a traditional rice cake that families often make together during this time! Some other Korean snacks and drinks will be provided, and we’ll spend some time sharing how our cultures and religions practice gratitude during the fall.
