Interfaith Shabbat Service Commemorating Martin Luther King Jr.

January 16 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

We are thrilled to be able to join together in person to commemorate the life and
ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during our annual Interfaith Shabbat service on the
Friday evening of MLK weekend. We would be honored to have you join us on Friday,
January 16, 2026 at 6:30pm in our sanctuary, as together we lead our communities in
prayer and celebrate the inspiration of Dr. King’s vision.

Please join us prior to the service at 6:00pm for light fare, during which we will
have the pleasure of enjoying each other’s camaraderie over hoer d’oeuvres and drinks.
Following the service, a buffet dinner will be served, offering more time to relax, mingle,
and enjoy each other’s company more leisurely.

We would like to extend this invitation to your community and look forward to
hearing that you and your congregation will share this moving Shabbat service with us.
We ask that you request attendees from your community RSVP, so we can be sure
there is enough food and drink for all: www.whctemple.org/mlk-shabbatwhc
