INVITE TO SEMA: We hold our Sema & Sufi Dance gatherings monthly @ the Cleveland Park Library [3310 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, D.C.]
Sunday, January 11th, 2-4 PM
Please feel free to share this invite with good-hearted Friends & Faith Communities! The Library is two blocks from the Cleveland Park Red line Metro Stop.
*What is a Sema? A Participatory Communal Event of Shared Rumi Poetry, Sacred Chants and easily learned Sufi Circle Dances… If we have Farsi readers, we’ll read in both English and Farsi [Rumi’s Persian language]. We’ll provide Poetry sheets – or do bring favorite pieces of Rumi, Hafiz, Khalil Gibran or other Sacred poetry. We’ll also create time to learn from one another’s Traditions and Spiritual Journeys!
