Serving as a Jew or Muslim for Life — Accepting the Inevitability of the Struggle.
July 12 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
In this JIDS session, we will confront head on the inevitability of struggling in the life of any religious Jew or Muslim. We will hear candid talks from two members of our community who helped JIDS thrive from its inception: Adam Marker and Haytham Younis. We will break into small groups, where each of us can share information about our own struggles. Then, we will return to plenary session to put together some of the things we have learned. At a minimum, we are sure to see that our own personal struggles are likely less unique than we might think. RSVP: [email protected]. It will also be accessible via Zoom.
