Join Communities United Against Hate for a series of events addressing hate & discrimination in Montgomery County. As a follow-on to our event on antisemitism in mid-October, CUAH is hosting a virtual dialog on Wednesday, January 10th at 7 – 8:30pm to combat Islamophobia and anti-Muslim bigotry in our schools and community. Please join us to learn what more we can do together to address these challenges. The workshop will include three sequential panels:
- Ambereen Khan, Montgomery County Anti-Hate Task Force, Muslim Cohort
- Muslim leaders who are addressing bigotry in communities and schools
Session 2: Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim Bigotry in our Community and Schools
- Students and parents affected by Islamophobia & Anti-Muslim Bigotry
Session 3: How Montgomery County Government is Addressing Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim Bigotry
