40th Anniversary Interfaith Concert
This year’s honoree is former Senator Gordon Smith, President and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters. Senator Tom Udall (NM) will make the presentation to his former colleague. DC area radio personality Tommy McFly is the emcee for the evening. David North will conduct a combined choir of 100 voices with spirit and verve during the Annual Interfaith Concert. The Dove: Young Voices of Israel/Palestine

The Montgomery Unity Walk on the Highway to Heaven (otherwise known as New Hampshire Avenue) is returning on Sunday, October 13th beginning at Blake High School. There will be a resource fair at 1 PM and an opening ceremony at 2 PM followed by walking and riding buses together to visit houses of worship representing different faith traditions.
