Strands of Compassion Concert

Internationally-acclaimed concert artists and activist virtuosos, Christoph Wagner, cellist, and Joanne Kong, pianist, will weave together music, reflections, and imagery in an inspiring event. The program will be followed by a free plant-based supper, with favorite foods from several ethnic and cultural traditions such as Indian, African, Mexican, Thai, and soul food among others, discussion, and meet & greet with our wonderful guest artists. Sukkah-Thon 2023!

This is a special invitation for our community to come celebrate Sukkot with the Abrahamic House Fellows in their backyard sukkah! Sukkot is a Jewish holiday that honors the autumn harvest and God’s protection in the desert. For seven days, Jews live and eat in a sukkah, a temporary shelter with a natural roof that lets us see the sky and the stars.
