2018 Multi-Faith Service Commemorating The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The 2018 service, entitled "King: His Voice, His Teachings, His Love for Humanity" will feature a keynote address by The Hon. Ben Chavis, Former Executive Director of the NAACP. The emcee for the event is Emmy award-winning journalist, Ms. Barbara Harrison (Channel 4 News). Music and interfaith reflections from several faith traditions in the DC area will be featured. Light refreshment reception follows service. Contributions collected will benefit local charities and the MLK Center in Atlanta.
