The Interfaith Coalition of Bowie invites federal workers and concerned citizens to come together for prayer and to discuss meaningful action as we navigate these uncertain times. This virtual event will feature local faith and community representatives leading prayer for and with our federal employees, as well as sharing information on available resources. Join the Washington Sikh Center for a no-cost health fair. This event will offer school and sports physicals, blood pressure checks, Alzheimer’s and dementia screenings, A1C diabetes tests, and much more. Families with children are invited to attend, and food will be provided. An Alzheimer’s workshop will also be held from 2:30-3:30 PM. The event organizers only ask that you bring an ID for admittance.

You’re invited to join an interfaith prayer vigil on the eve of the first hearing of a historic lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security's rescission of the sensitive locations memo. The vigil will take place on Thursday, April 3rd, at 6:30 PM at National City Christian Church in Washington, DC. Together, we will gather in solidarity, lifting prayers for justice, compassion, and the protection of immigrant communities. The event organizers ask that you RSVP at the event website.

This interfaith choir is inviting children and adults of all abilities to participate. The initial rehearsal will be from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM on April 5. Subsequent rehearsals will be held from 4:00 pm - 5:00 PM on April 12th, April 26th, and May 3rd. These efforts will culminate in a concert on May 4th at 7 PM.
