Non-Traditional Movements in Judaism and Islam

The next event of the Jewish-Islamic Dialogue Society will be a Zoom discussion on non-traditional movements in Judaism and Islam, featuring panelists Ani Zonneveld (president of Muslims for Progressive Values) and Taya Ma Shere (co-founder of Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute). The dialogue will consider the beliefs, successes, and challenges faced by nontraditionalists of both faiths, bringing light to diverse perspectives and little-discussed movements.  The event will take place on Thursday, October 6 from 6:30 to 8:30. McLean Community Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging Event

Since 2010 McLean Community Rise Against Hunger Events has held eleven events and packaged 3,000,000 meals.  It is a great opportunity for people of different faith traditions to come together to help end world hunger.
