IFC 2017 Concert

TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE DOOR BEGINNING AT 6:30 PM Each fall, we gather for the IFC’s biggest night of the year: the annual InterFaith Concert! IFC’s concert is our major annual fundraising event. Donations to the concert sustain our year-round work. The concert features a combined choir of more than 100 voices under the direction of Cantor Mikhail Manevich of Washington Hebrew Congregation. Join nationally known chant leader and composer Rabbi Andrew Hahn (the Kirtan Rabbi) for an evening of sacred call-andresponse singing and devotional learning. Hebrew Kirtan is participatory chanting where short, sacred phrases from the Jewish tradition are treated as powerful, universal meditations. It is at once contemplative, ecstatic, and mind expanding fun! No need to know Hebrew or be Jewish.
