The InterFaith Conference (IFC) was born of the conviction that community can be created from diversity and that in diversity is the unity that can change the world.  Today the need for that transformational unity is even more apparent.

To meet that need, the IFC has drawn upon our 30 years of inter-religious experience to shape a bold vision.  Through our three programmatic initiatives-- nurturing understanding, building community and advancing justice-- our faith leaders in the Baha'i, Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Jain, Jewish, Latter-day Saint, Protestant, Roman Catholic, Sikh, and Zoroastrian communities aim to make the national capital region a model of effective interfaith collaboration and an inspiration for peoples everywhere.
