Join Hyattsville-area faith communities, leaders, and neighbors as we gather for prayer, witness and stories of families who have experienced negative encounters with police and consider concrete actions that can move us toward racial justice. As a non-violent demonstration of solidarity, participants will stand in silence for 9 minutes, the length of time former police office Chauvin applied lethal pressure to George Floyd. Register here.
Please wear face masks and observe safe distancing guidelines. Handheld signs only. Limited parking available behind the church building and along Adelphi Rd.
