St. John’s Lafayette Square Solidarity Prayer Witness

CAN members will join in prayer and witness to support justice for all those killed through police violence and an end to racism and white supremacy. NOTE: Solidarity Prayer Witness will be happening every day outside St. John's from 3-6:30 p.m. during the duration of racial justice protests. Bring a mask and sign and observe physical distancing. Look for the Congregation Action Network banner in front of the church.

16th St. Vigil Against Racism: Black Lives Matter to [God and to] Us!

People from faith communities along 16th St. and nearby (and neighbors!) are invited to a physically distant vigil to bear peaceful witness to the love that grounds us as people of faith and good will. Please stand near your place of worship along 16th St., on both sides of the street, maintaining 6 feet of distance and wearing masks. Please bring a sign and mask. Places of worship are invited to ring their bells at 5:45 p.m.
