Event Navigation
The Jewish-Islamic Dialogue Society of Washington (JIDS) is holding a dialogue about the Proposed West Bank Annexation by Israel. The program will be held via Zoom on Sunday, July 19th, starting at 2:00 p.m. ET.
In planning this event, it was imperative to the JIDS Board that our panelists reflect a wide range of viewpoints. The panelists include a proponent of Israel’s annexing portions of the West Bank, an opponent of Zionism, and a two-state solution advocate. Dr. Mordecai Kader is an Israel-based lecturer on Islamic and Arabic studies, a Netanyahu supporter, and a pundit who appears on Arabic television shows defending Israel. Dr. Mai Abdul-Rahman is the founder of the American Palestinian Women’s Association, a co-founder of the Washington Interfaith Alliance for Middle East Peace, and a BDS supporter. Amos Gil is the Capitol South Regional Director of J Street, who supports Zionism and a two-state solution and opposes the proposed annexation.
