Scriptural Reasoning on “Scripture”

April 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Scriptural Reasoning (SR) is a practice hosted by Rumi Forum where Christians, Jews, and Muslims study each other’s sacred texts. SR participants meet once a month to read short passages from their respective scriptures on a certain topic. Facilitated by a study leader, each session is an opportunity to listen and share various perspectives. This month’s facilitator is Hazzan Henrique Ozur Bass! Hazzan Henrique Ozur Bass is a Chaplain intern at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. He served Congregation Har Shalom as their Cantor for almost 28 years. He is honored to participate in Scriptural Reasoning because he believes that peace and understanding are a consequence of the courage to accept our differences and the vulnerability to confront them with love.
